How to get to the Dhamma Pallava for Service Period

Please come to the centre by 10pm the latest. If you can't manage to arrive before 10pm, be prepared to arrive the following day.

HOW TO GET DHAMMA PALLAVA
1. By car
This is the most convenient way to get to the Centre. There is no public transportation directly to the Centre.
You can find us on Google Maps by typing 'Dhamma Pallava' in the browser.
You can leave your car in the fenced parking slot. Please park close to the main gate.
If you are coming by car and have free places in the car please don’t forget to help other participants by offering a lift. To do so subscribe on ourRideshare Board.
2. Rideshare
If you would like to get a lift or you are travelling by car and can offer someone a lift please use ourRideshare Board.
Please note that we do not contact the participants regarding shared transportation.
3. By public transport
The public transportation will only take you to the nearest towns. We organize a shuttle bus from Konin (see below).
There aredirect trainsto Konin from Berlin, also fromWarsaw, Poznań and other cities.
There are direct buses fromBerlin and other European cities to Poznań or Warsaw and many connections between Poznań/Warsaw and Konin.

From some big polish cities like Wrocław, Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Trójmiasto operate private bus companies likeHoper andSuperPKS, which can take you directly to the centre. Early registration and booking are required.
4. Pickups
There is no shuttle bus for the service period. If you can not find transport to the Centre please contact centre management (via email: [email protected], in case of emergency call +48 504 340 425) as soon as possible informing them about your arrival day and time, to check if someone can pick you up from Turek or Malanów. You might need to wait for other students to arrive at the meeting point.
We can not guarantee that the pickup will be possible. If not - please take a taxi.
5. Arrival by taxi
Price for a taxi with seats for 1-4 people is PLN 80 from Turek (approx. EUR 18), from Konin PLN 180 (approx. EUR 40), from Kalisz PLN 200 (approx. EUR 45), from Poznań PLN 600 (approx. EUR 135), from Warsaw PLN 800 (approx. 180 EUR).

You can share the cost of arriving at the center by taxi with others. To do this, use the Rideshare Board - in the 'Location' field, enter the town name and the information that you would like to chip in for a taxi ride cost.
6. By air
The closest airports are in Poznań and Warsaw. There are local buses/trains from airports to the main railway station in these cities.
